Jackson County Off-Road Association is located in Jackson County Kentucky. Jackson County has a total of 347 sq miles of land with over 56,000 acres of National Forest. Because of this Jackson County offers a lot of trails and opportunities for Off-Roading.
Events
We offer many events for the Off-Road and Local Community. We also partner with local Off-Road Events to help promote Off-Roading in Jackson County.

Indian Ridge Rd (trail 19)
3.5 Miles
Details
The Indian Ridge Rd (Trail 19) It’s about 3.5 miles and will take about 20 minutes to get down the trail. For more of a challenge you can come back up the trail.
The trail consists of the following conditions:
- Gravel Road
- Dirt Trail
- Rough Trail (rocks, drop offs, tree limbs, mud)
- Trail Washout
KAT 2 Hard Trail (trail 207)
7.5 Miles
Details
The KAT (Kentucky Adventure Tour) Hard 2 Tail is located in New Zion (Jackson County) The trail starts on Kentucky Trail #407 (Bushy Ridge Cemetery Road) and will end on Earnestville Rd that comes out onto Hwy 587.
**High Clearance 4×4 is recommended for this trail**
The trail consists of the following conditions:
- Gravel Road
- Dirt Trail
- Rough Trail (rocks, drop offs, tree limbs, mud)
- Lots of mud and deep mud pits
Pine Flat Rd (Trail 424)
2.8 Miles
Details
Pine flat Rd (Trail 424) begins on HWY 2003 and comes out on Hwy 290
**High Clearance 4×4 is recommended for this trail**
The trail consists of the following conditions:
- Gravel Road
- Dirt Trail
- Rough Trail (rocks, drop offs, tree limbs, mud)
- Huge drop offs
- steep drop downs
- mud pits
